BC Racing BR Series Coilovers – Audi S1 8X AWD (2015–2018)

Upgrade the suspension of your Audi S1 8X with the BC Racing BR Series coilover kit, designed to provide a strong balance of everyday usability, fast-road performance and occasional track capability.

The BR Series uses a monotube damper design with a large 46mm piston housed within a 53mm damper body, helping increase oil capacity and control damper temperatures during harder driving. Combined with 30-way adjustable damping and independent ride-height adjustment, the setup allows the suspension to be tailored to both road and performance use.

For the Audi S1 8X AWD, this application uses the BR-RN configuration, retaining the vehicle’s original front top mounts.

Adjustable Ride Height & Damping

BC Racing BR Series coilovers allow ride height to be adjusted independently of spring preload, helping maintain usable damper travel when lowering the car.

The 30-way damping adjustment alters compression and rebound together, allowing the suspension to be softened for road use or firmed up for more demanding fast-road and track driving.

BR-RN Configuration

This Audi S1 application uses the BC Racing RN configuration.

The front suspension retains the factory top mounts rather than using a pillowball or camber-adjustable top mount, helping retain a more road-friendly level of refinement while still providing the height and damping adjustment of the BR Series system.
