BC Racing DS Series Coilovers – Honda Integra DC2 (1993–2001) Rear Fork
Upgrade the suspension of your Honda Integra DC2 with the BC Racing DS Series coilover kit, designed for drivers looking for a more performance-focused setup for fast-road, track day and motorsport use.
This application is specifically designed for Honda Integra DC2 models using the rear fork-type lower damper mounting, so the rear suspension mounting arrangement should be confirmed before ordering.
The DS Series uses BC Racing’s digressive damper technology to provide increased low-speed damping force for improved body control, steering response and chassis support while retaining greater compliance over sharper bumps and higher-speed suspension movements.
Digressive Damper Technology
The key difference with the BC Racing DS Series is its digressive damping profile.
Digressive damping provides stronger control during lower-speed suspension movements such as braking, acceleration, turn-in and weight transfer, helping the car remain flatter and more composed when driven hard.
At higher damper velocities, the damping curve becomes less aggressive, helping the suspension absorb sharper bumps and surface changes without relying purely on excessively stiff spring rates.
Key features:
-
DS Series digressive monotube damper design
-
30-way adjustable damping
-
Independent ride-height adjustment
-
Adjustable spring preload
-
Improved body control under braking and cornering
-
Sharper steering and chassis response
-
Multiple top mount configurations available
-
Rebuildable design
-
Replacement components available
-
Custom specification options available
-
Rear fork-type application for Honda Integra DC2
Specification & Spring Rate Options
Available configurations include:
DS-DS – 9/4kg.mm – recommended spring rate for a balance of comfort and performance
Alternative specifications include:
-
DS-DA – 9/4kg.mm
-
DS-DH – 9/4kg.mm
All three configurations use the same 9kg.mm front and 4kg.mm rear spring-rate setup, with the main difference being the top mount specification.
The recommended DS-DS configuration provides a more road-friendly mounting arrangement while retaining the benefits of DS Series digressive damping.
The DS-DA and DS-DH options provide progressively more performance-focused top mount configurations for drivers wanting a more direct connection between the suspension and chassis.
If you are unsure which specification is most suitable for your Integra, please contact us before ordering.
DS-DS Configuration
The DS-DS configuration is supplied with aluminium front top mounts using rubber centres.
Depending on the rear suspension application, aluminium rear top mounts with rubber centres may also be supplied, or the appropriate original rear mounting arrangement may be retained.
This makes the DS-DS specification particularly suitable for drivers wanting improved performance while retaining greater road refinement.
DS-DA Configuration
The DS-DA configuration is supplied with aluminium front top mounts featuring pillowball centres.
Where the suspension design allows, the front top mounts can provide camber adjustment while creating a more direct connection between the suspension and chassis.
Depending on the rear suspension application, aluminium rear top mounts with rubber centres may be supplied, or no replacement rear top mount may be required.

DS-DH Configuration
The DS-DH configuration is supplied with aluminium camber-adjustable pillowball top mounts at the front where available, with pillowball mounting at the rear or no replacement rear top mount depending on the application.
This is the more direct and track-focused mounting configuration of the available options.

Rear Fork Fitment
This listing is specifically for Honda Integra DC2 models using the rear fork-type lower damper mount.
Different rear mounting arrangements can exist across Integra applications, so the rear mounting type should be confirmed before ordering.
If you are unsure whether your Integra uses the correct rear fork configuration, please contact us with your vehicle details before placing your order.
Adjustable Ride Height & Damping
Ride height can be adjusted independently of spring preload, helping retain usable damper travel when lowering the vehicle.
The 30-way damping adjustment allows the suspension response to be fine-tuned according to road conditions, driver preference and intended use, from fast-road driving through to more demanding circuit work.

Product Image & Specification Note
Product images are for illustration purposes only and may not show the exact specification supplied for every vehicle application.
BC Racing kits can vary depending on vehicle, spring rate, top mount configuration and other specification options. If you have any specific requirements, such as upgraded or alternative top mounts, spring rates or ride-height preferences, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the most suitable configuration for your setup.
Fast Road & Track Performance
The BC Racing DS Series is particularly well suited to Integra owners wanting greater chassis control and feedback than a more conventional road-focused coilover setup.
The 9/4kg.mm spring rate provides a strong balance for fast-road and track use, while the choice between DS-DS, DS-DA and DS-DH allows the mounting configuration to be tailored more closely to the intended use of the vehicle.
Professional Installation Recommended
Professional installation is recommended.
A full four-wheel alignment should also be carried out after installation and once the final ride height has been set to ensure correct geometry, tyre wear and handling characteristics.
Where pillowball or adjustable top mounts are fitted, suspension geometry should be set by a competent specialist to suit the intended use of the vehicle.
