BC Racing ER Series Coilovers – Toyota Supra JZA80 / JZZ30 RWD (1993–2002)
Upgrade the suspension of your Toyota Supra JZA80 / JZZ30 platform with the BC Racing ER Series coilover kit, designed for drivers wanting a more advanced setup for fast-road, track day and motorsport use.
The ER Series uses external reservoirs to increase oil capacity and improve temperature control during sustained hard driving, helping maintain more consistent damping performance during repeated track sessions and demanding circuit use.
For this application, multiple spring-rate configurations are available to suit different levels of road and track focus.
External Reservoir Damper Design
The defining feature of the BC Racing ER Series is its external reservoir configuration.
By increasing damper oil capacity and helping manage heat more effectively, the ER Series is particularly well suited to repeated high-load driving where consistency and thermal control are important.
Key features:
-
ER Series monotube damper design
-
External reservoirs for increased oil capacity
-
Improved temperature control during sustained hard use
-
30-way adjustable damping
-
Independent ride-height adjustment
-
Adjustable spring preload
-
Improved body control and chassis response
-
Multiple spring-rate configurations available

Designed for Toyota Supra JZA80 / JZZ30 RWD applications
Spring Rate Options
Available configurations include:
14/10kg.mm – recommended spring rate for a balance of comfort and performance
Alternative configurations include:
-
16/12kg.mm – firmer, more track-focused setup
-
18/16kg.mm – highly focused configuration for demanding circuit and motorsport use
The recommended 14/10kg.mm setup provides the strongest all-round balance for fast-road and mixed road/track use, offering increased chassis support while retaining more compliance than the firmer alternatives.
The 16/12kg.mm option increases spring rate at both ends for drivers wanting reduced body movement and sharper response under braking and cornering.
The 18/16kg.mm configuration is the most aggressive option available, aimed at highly focused track and motorsport applications where chassis support and consistency take priority over road comfort.
If you are unsure which spring rate is most suitable for your Supra, please contact us before ordering.
Adjustable Ride Height & Damping
Ride height can be adjusted independently of spring preload, helping retain usable damper travel when lowering the vehicle.
The 30-way damping adjustment allows the suspension response to be fine-tuned according to road conditions, tyre choice, driver preference and intended use, from fast-road driving through to more demanding circuit work.
Vehicle Fitment

Product Image & Specification Note
Product images are for illustration purposes only and may not show the exact specification supplied for every vehicle application.
BC Racing kits can vary depending on vehicle, spring rate, top mount configuration and other specification options. If you have any specific requirements, such as upgraded or alternative top mounts, spring rates, reservoir configuration or ride-height preferences, please contact us before ordering so we can confirm the most suitable configuration for your setup.
Lowering Data Note: Any lowering figures shown in secondary product imagery apply only to the recommended kit specification. Alternative spring-rate configurations may achieve different ride-height ranges.
Fast Road, Track & Motorsport Performance
The BC Racing ER Series is particularly well suited to Supra owners wanting greater consistency and heat control than a conventional non-reservoir coilover setup.
The 14/10kg.mm recommended setup provides the best all-round balance, while the 16/12kg.mm and 18/16kg.mm options allow the suspension to be configured for progressively more demanding track and motorsport applications.
Professional Installation Recommended
Professional installation is recommended.
A full four-wheel alignment should also be carried out after installation and once the final ride height has been set to ensure correct geometry, tyre wear and handling characteristics.
For more focused track applications, corner weighting and a vehicle-specific geometry setup can also help make the most of the suspension package.
