EBC Brakes Pad and Disc Kit (PD19KR309) (Rear)

EBC Bluestuff Pads

• Rotor Condition

  • Ensuring rotors are in near-perfect flat condition is crucial, as uneven, grooved, or ribbed surfaces can triple bed-in times for both street and track use.
  • EBC Yellowstuff is a harder, more durable pad, requiring smooth rotors for optimal performance.
  • If resurfacing is needed, EBC strongly recommends using high-quality ON-CAR brake lathes from Pro-Cut for the best results.

• Pad Lifetime

  • Track Use: Inspect pads every 30 laps and replace them when the friction material reaches 3mm (1/8 inch) to prevent brake fade.
  • Street Use: Expect a significantly longer lifespan—20,000 miles or more, even under aggressive driving conditions.

• Cooling & Caliper Drag

  • Simply installing a race pad does not instantly make a street brake system track-ready.
  • Additional cooling ducts may be necessary to prevent excessive heat buildup and extend pad and rotor life during racing conditions.

• Using Bluestuff NDX as a Street-Only Pad

  • In Europe, brake pads must meet ECE R90 certification for legal road use.
  • Bluestuff is not R90 approved for all vehicles—check approval status before using it on public roads.

Partnered with BSD Blade Sport Discs

BSD (Blade Sports Discs) are crafted from a unique material called "discalloy," designed for both front and rear applications. The innovative blade slot design efficiently expels hot gases, helping to keep brake pads cooler and ensuring a more even contact surface. Additionally, the overlapping slots work together to reduce brake wind noise.

The uniquely engineered blade slot design efficiently expels hot gases from the braking zone—far more effectively than a uni-directional slot. This rapid gas removal helps keep the pads flatter and the brakes cooler, while the overlapping slots work to minimize brake wind noise.

The initial range of blade discs now covers 80% of the European market for sport brakes. When paired with EBC Greenstuff sport brake pads, the top-selling Redstuff brake pads, or the highest performing Yellowstuff brake pads, these discs are designed to provide quicker stopping power, improved cooling with less thermal distortion, and an appealing appearance. Additionally, the all-new EBC Bluestuff NDX brake pads also perform exceptionally well with these discs. For further details, please click the links above.
