Upgrade the suspension of your BMW 1 Series E81 or E87 Hatch with HSD Dualtech Coilovers, developed to provide a strong balance of performance, comfort, adjustability and value.
The Dualtech range is aimed primarily at fast-road, daily-driven and style-focused builds, while still offering enough adjustability for occasional track use. HSD developed this application in partnership with Driftworks specifically for the E81 and E87 1 Series platform.

Spring Rates
The standard spring rates for this application are:
- Front: 8kg/mm
- Rear: 9kg/mm
HSD lists the front springs as 175mm long with a 65mm internal diameter and the rear springs as 200mm long with a 65mm internal diameter.
14-Way Adjustable Damping
The Dualtech range uses 14-way adjustable twin-tube dampers, allowing the suspension response to be tailored around the way the car is used.
