Plateless Multi Plate Refresh Kit – Replacement Magnetic Pads
Already running a Plateless Multi Plate Kit and need to add or replace your number plates?
The Plateless Multi Plate Refresh Kit provides four replacement magnetic pads for existing Multi Plate Kit users, allowing you to change number plates, add a new show plate or refresh your current setup without purchasing another complete kit.
This product is not a full Plateless Multi Plate Kit and is only suitable for compatible Multi Plate Kits purchased after 1 January 2024.
Important Compatibility Information
Please note:
- This is not the complete Plateless Multi Plate Kit
- This refresh kit only works with Multi Plate Kits purchased after 01/01/2024
- You must already have a compatible Plateless Multi Plate Kit installed
- If you are new to Plateless, you will need to purchase the full Plateless Multi Plate Kit
- If you currently use a standard single-plate Plateless kit, this refresh kit is not suitable

The refresh kit is specifically designed as an add-on for customers already using the newer Plateless Multi Plate Kit.
Your existing vehicle-side magnetic mounting system remains in place, while the replacement pads allow additional or replacement number plates to be used with it.
This makes it a simple and cost-effective way to update your setup without replacing components that are already installed on the vehicle.
Four Magnetic Pads Included
The kit includes four Plateless Multi Plate magnetic pads.
These are fitted to the number plate and work with the compatible Multi Plate magnetic system already installed on the vehicle.
With four pads supplied, the kit provides the replacement components required when updating or adding compatible plates to your existing setup.
High-Quality Flexible Construction
Plateless pads are manufactured from high-quality flexible plastic designed to provide durability while conforming to the number plate surface.
The flexible construction makes them suitable for a range of plate shapes and sizes where compatible with the existing Multi Plate setup.
Soft Foam Protection
Each Plateless pad incorporates soft foam designed to help protect the vehicle's paint, wrap or other exterior finish where the plate sits against the bodywork.
This helps provide a softer contact surface between the removable plate and vehicle.
As with any removable exterior accessory, keeping both the plate and vehicle surfaces clean is recommended to minimise the risk of trapped dirt causing marks.
Ideal for Show Plates
The refresh kit is especially useful for owners who regularly swap between different plates.
This may include:
- Road registration plates
- Show plates
- Event plates
- Custom plates
- Shortened registration plates
Provided you already have a compatible post-2024 Multi Plate Kit installed, additional plates can be prepared using the replacement pads.
Changed Your Number Plate?
If you've recently changed your registration, there is no need to purchase another complete Multi Plate Kit.
Instead, the refresh kit allows the new number plate to be prepared for use with your existing magnetic mounting system.
This can make personalised registration changes and replacement plates considerably easier for existing Plateless users.
Not Suitable for New Plateless Installations
If you do not currently have a Plateless Multi Plate Kit installed, this product will not provide everything required to mount a number plate magnetically.
New customers should purchase the complete Plateless Multi Plate Kit, which includes the vehicle-side mounting components required for initial installation.
This refresh kit contains plate-side replacement pads only.
