Upgrade your BMW 1 Series with ST XTA Plus 3 Coilovers, the most advanced suspension system in the ST range, combining adjustable ride height, three-way damping adjustment and aluminium uniball top mounts for a highly tuneable fast-road and track-focused setup.
Developed using KW Automotive engineering, the XTA Plus 3 gives significantly greater control over suspension behaviour than the ST X, XA or conventional XTA, allowing separate adjustment of rebound, low-speed compression and high-speed compression damping.

3-Way Adjustable Damping
The defining feature of the ST XTA Plus 3 is its independently tuneable damping system.
Adjustment includes:
- 18 clicks of low-speed rebound damping
- 24 clicks of low-speed compression damping
- 24 clicks of high-speed compression damping
This provides substantially more setup flexibility than a conventional single-adjustable coilover.
Low-Speed Rebound Adjustment
Rebound damping controls how quickly the suspension extends again after being compressed.
Adjusting rebound can help fine-tune:

- Maximum rear axle load: 1060kg
For BMW E82 Coupe applications:
- Front lowering: approximately 30–55mm
- Rear lowering: approximately 25–50mm
- Maximum front axle load: 945kg
- Maximum rear axle load: 1070kg
The vehicle should always be adjusted within the approved range while retaining adequate suspension travel and tyre clearance.
Galvanized Steel Construction
The XTA Plus 3 uses galvanized steel coilover struts with additional corrosion-resistant coating.
