EVO3 Competition Intercooler
The EVO3 uses a stepped core measuring 510 x 303 x 180mm with a total charge-air volume of 20.65 litres.
Compared with the factory intercooler, Wagner Tuning states that it provides:
- 162% larger frontal area
- 182% more charge-air volume
- Improved charge cooling
- Increased airflow capacity
- Reduced pressure drop compared with the factory intercooler
- Improved resistance to heat soak
Competition Core Construction
The EVO3 uses Wagner Tuning’s Competition intercooler core with a tube-fin design and internal turbulators.
Cast aluminium end tanks are CFD-optimised to improve internal airflow, while the factory-style restrictive connections are replaced with larger 70mm inlet and outlet connections.

Installation Note
The EVO3 intercooler is designed as a vehicle-specific installation, although Wagner Tuning notes that minor adjustments to the plastic cooler support are required.
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Important Road-Use Notice
The supplied downpipe does not contain a catalytic converter.
Wagner Tuning / its retailers specify decat components for off-road or motorsport use, and a decat vehicle would not meet UK MOT emissions requirements.
A DME warning or emissions-related fault may also occur after installation depending on vehicle configuration.
