Designed for demanding N54 and N55 performance applications, the EVO3 uses a much larger high-performance core to improve cooling capacity, reduce heat soak and support more consistent performance under sustained load.

EVO3 Competition Intercooler

The EVO3 uses a stepped core measuring 510 x 303 x 180mm with a total charge-air volume of 20.65 litres.

Compared with the factory intercooler, Wagner Tuning states that it provides:

• 162% larger cooling / flow area
• 182% more charge-air volume
• Improved charge-air cooling
• Reduced pressure losses
• Better resistance to heat soak
• Improved performance consistency at higher intake temperatures

Competition Core Design

The intercooler uses Wagner Tuning’s Competition Tube Fin core with internal turbulators.

It also features CFD-optimised cast aluminium end tanks and enlarged 70mm inlet and outlet connections to improve airflow through the system.
